Short version: your data stays on your device.
I Am Healthy! stores the information you enter — weight entries, optional notes, the names and colors of any people you add, your goal, your unit preference, and your reminder time — locally on your iPhone using Apple's SwiftData framework.
I Am Healthy! sends a small number of anonymous usage signals to TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service. These signals tell us things like "the app launched", "a weight was logged", or "onboarding finished" — nothing more. We use them only to understand how the app is used in aggregate and to spot bugs.
We never send your weight values, name, date of birth, gender, notes, reminder times, or HealthKit identifiers. TelemetryDeck does not collect your IP address or advertising identifier; it derives a salted, hashed identifier on-device that cannot be reversed to identify you.
See TelemetryDeck's privacy statement for details on what they do and do not store.
If you turn on Sync to Apple Health for a person, new entries you log for them are written to the Health app on your device as Body Mass samples using Apple's HealthKit framework. This data is stored by iOS, not by us, and is governed by Apple's privacy policy and your iOS Health permissions.
I Am Healthy! requests write-only access to body mass — we do not read your Health data.
You can revoke this access at any time in iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → I Am Healthy!
If you enable the daily reminder, the app schedules a local notification on your device. The notification is generated and delivered entirely by iOS — nothing leaves your phone.
Your I Am Healthy! data is included in your standard iCloud or iTunes/Finder iPhone backups, alongside the rest of your apps. Those backups are managed by Apple, not by us.
The app does not collect any information from anyone, of any age. If you add a child as a "person" in the app, their name and weight entries stay on your device just like yours do.
If this policy changes in any meaningful way, the updated version will appear at this URL.
